Bonding

The process of placing a white tooth colored filling in or on a tooth is referred to as "bonding". Traditional metal fillings stand out against the white backdrop of healthy teeth, making some people embarrassed to smile with confidence. A composite (tooth colored) filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth will be carefully removed and then a special adhesive is applied. The composite filling will then be precisely placed, shaped, and polished, restoring your tooth to its original shape and function. It is normal to experience sensitivity to hot and cold when composite fillings are first placed, however, this will subside shortly after your tooth adapts to the new filling. Tooth colored fillings are a subtle way to fill cavities and look completely natural. Unlike traditional metal fillings, tooth colored fillings do not contain mercury, which is a known to be toxic to the body. What's more, like porcelain veneers and porcelain crowns, tooth colored fillings can be matched to the unique color of your teeth, leaving you with a flawlessly restored smile.

Bonding teeth with composite (tooth colored) fillings is an ideal solution for:

-Chipped teeth
-Closing space between two teeth
-Cracked or broken teeth
-Decayed teeth
-Worn teeth
